Knife Assembly Technician

This position is for an Assembly Technician who will take the parts we make in the machine shop and put them together into quality, completed knives.

Hours will be from 6:30AM - 3PM Monday through Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of knives
  • Problem solving skills
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
  • Basic hand tool and application knowledge
  • Emphasis on attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to follow direction and handle constructive criticism
  • Ability to use and read calipers
  • Any other duties as required

Minimum Training & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay & Benefts:

  • $18 - 22 / hour depending on experience
  • 100% company paid health insurance after 60 days
  • Quarterly profit sharing bonuses

CNC Mill Programmer / Set Up

This position is for a Mill Programmer and set up person who will take drawings from our designer or outside designers and turn them into parts on a Fanuc Robodrill. We have an incredibly capable shop with Swiss lathes, EDMs, specialty grinding equipment, and mills. Lately, there's been more and more inquiries to do contract work and this person will help facilitate that side of the business. Qualified candidates need to be self starters that can be handed a project with a deadline and get it done. You will be supported by world-class equipment and tools and by talented coworkers who are proper craftspeople who take an immense amount of pride in their work.

Hours will be flexible Monday through Friday. We will likely get you your own mill since you will be working on smaller contract jobs that are outside our normal production. As the company grows, there's potential to have multiple people in similar roles so, if you have aspirations of leading a team, we would love for you to grow with the company as a leader.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take a model from a client and produce fixtures and make the actual parts on a 3 or 4-axis vertical mill
  • Take a napkin sketch and turn it into a viable model to then be turned into a physical part

Minimum Training & Experience:

  • Solidworks experience is required (preferrably 3-5 years)
  • HSM Works / Fusion Progamming experience is required (preferrably 2 years)
  • Knowledge of tooling, different methods of fixturing, and feeds and speeds
  • How to set up machines and troubleshoot issues
  • Hands on machine shop experience
  • Detail oriented and takes directions well
  • Read an understand blueprints
  • Check you own parts

Pay & Benefts:

  • $25 - 35 / hour depending on experience
